Four students from Braemar College were invited to be part of the accompanying orchestra for the Gisborne Singers’ performance of Handel’s Messiah last Sunday.
The students ranging from Year 5-10 played pieces of up to 30 minutes duration for the 2 hour concert. This was a fantastic opportunity for them to join professional musicians and gain experience working within an orchestra.
The choir also features Braemar Music teacher Savanna Griechen and alumni and recent Music University graduate Rosemary Cocklin.
There will be another performance this Sunday at the Kyneton Town hall which is sure to sell out.
