Braemar College Football

At a recent football ‘friendly’ day at Bacchus Marsh Grammar, our teams had great matches across various year levels.

Year 9/10

Braemar 13. 7.85 defeated Bacchus Marsh 10.4 .64.IMG_6780

Our best player for that match was Daniel Johnstone. Other special mentions on the day go to  Wilem Floreani, Harry Brundell, Sebastian Bell-Bartels, Jack Hansford and Fin Urie

The match was played in great spirit and it was a very good team performance from the Braemar boys.

Year 7/8

Braemar  3.6. 24 was defeated by Bacchus Marsh Grammar 11.10.76

Best on ground were Pat Doyle with 3 votes, Pat Lupson  with 2 votes and Rohan Nicol with 1 vote.

Braemar started with great endeavour with the first 2 shots on goal. Bacchus Marsh Grammar were a solid team who had plenty of run and carry which helped them kick away in the 2nd and 4th quarters to take out the match.

The game was played in good spirits under great conditions.

SUN COUNTRY CUP

In the third round of this year’s Sun Country Cup, Braemar College went down to Ballarat High in a hard fought game.IMG_9781

Unfortunately this means our team doesn’t progress to the next round, but the boys acquitted themselves well.
