Students are encouraged to rug up warmly for Casual Clothes Day this Friday, 3 June.
World Environment Day is on 5 June. To raise the profile of the importance of the environment, our College community will be reminded of things we can all do to promote a healthier and more sustainable world. These include simple actions such as using less electricity and gas, putting litter in bins and recycling.
So the theme for our Casual Clothes Day is “Rug up Day”.
On Friday 3 June the College will have a day without heaters or heating. Students will need to rug up to keep warm. (Experience what it may have been like in the early days of Braemar, before the comforts of modern heating.) Note that T shirts, shorts and thongs will not be permitted.
Gold coin donations will be collected on the buses, and the SRC will run a BBQ at lunch time. Funds raised on the day will benefit environmental causes.
