Learning in Make at Braemar College has gone from strength to strength this year.
Year 5 students have been exploring visual based coding using ScratchJr and Spheros. They looked at how technology can be used to help people who have a disability.
Students programmed the Sphero to help alert a deaf neighbour that there was a fire in their building and how serious it was.
In Year 6 students have been designing and building circuits using littleBits to solve problems.
Using the system life cycle, they had to analyse, design, create and evaluate a solution to stop people walking into their bedroom without their permission.
Models were built and circuits attached using various inputs and outputs.
