Braemar College drummer and instrumental drum teacher, Andrew Horneman was recently in Ethiopia with World Vision artist, Levi McGrath.
This enabled the purchase of 20 locally handmade traditional instruments, and the employment of a teacher for 6 months to deliver tuition to the children at the Lelt foundation campus in the west of Addis Ababa.
These children from the local community can now learn to express themselves though the gift of music.
Andrew says, “I was so incredibly happy to meet these children and see what the Lelt foundation is doing to support them. I am excited to see the difference music will make in these young lives over the next 6-12 months.”
More information about the trip can be found at Andrew’s blog.
