Year 12 Art Scholarships

Thanks to the support of more than 100 artists over the past nine years, Working Outside The Square has raised more than $30,000 to provide scholarships to twenty-five Macedon Ranges students, to assist them with tertiary studies in an artistic field.

Screen Shot 2015-06-04 at 2.04.47 pmForty paintings were sold at the recent Working Outside The Square exhibition at Black Anther Gallery to raise money for the 2016 Scholarship to be awarded to a Year 12 student/s attending school, or living in the Macedon Ranges.

The total scholarship each year is approximately $4000 and may be given to an individual or split between a small group. Successful recipients may use the funds for any costs associated with their studies.

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship students must be:

  • Currently a student at a secondary college
  • Have applied to commence a practical arts course, or arts related apprenticeship, in 2016 (students who have applied and are deferring their place until 2017 will also be considered)
