Created by Henry Vyhnal, the MITCH Young Performers Autumn Concert will take place at Braemar College at 2.30 on the 19 April and will feature some of our young performers.
Darcy Sartori – Voice and guitar
Darcy began performing as a young child dancing along to the Jersey Boys, singing at festivals, small gigs, busking and in the east of Melbourne at Italian functions and aged care centres. He’s a veteran at 12 years old and it shows.
Paris Cassar – Voice
Paris has a maturity well beyond her 16 years. Her voice is stunningly accurate and her interpretation personal and original.
Laura Mansted – Violin
Laura has just been confirmed as a new violinist in the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Project in June.
Amelia Eddy – Clarinet
Amelia won MITCH’s first Young Musician of the Year in 2013. Her progress since has been astounding.
Ella Yeatman – Voice
Ella narrowly lost to Ellie Barkla (the featured young artist at the last MITCH concert) at the 2014 Kyneton Idol competition. Ella’s personality and energetic commitment to her performance allow her to shine where others fear to tread.
Tom Williams – Piano
Thomas Williams is preparing for his VCE Solo Performance exam in October under the tutelage of Bronislaw Sozanski. Last year Thomas gave the premier performance of Hannah Zeikrat’s piano concerto with the Ballarat Symphony Orchestra. He has achieved outstanding success in exams and competitions, winning many awards including first place in the Royal South Street Open Composition Prize for the last two years.
