MITCH – Next Generation Concert – Starring the Region’s Best Young Musicians

On Sunday April 19, MITCH will present its 2015 Next Generation Concert.

Over the last few years, the Next Generation concerts have presented an entire program of the best new young musicians in the Central Highlands.

The concerts have been a wonderful way for young people to hear their contemporaries and for MITCH to create programs that are diverse and inspiring.

Braemar - Jackson HallThis year the venue for the concert will be Jackson Hall.

As well as providing a rare opportunity for MITCH patrons to see this wonderful building for themselves, the program this year will be headed up by the extremely exciting young Ballarat pianist Thomas Wiiliams who will play

Liszt’s Petrarch Sonnet and his own compositon ‘Concertantissimo’.

The rest of the program is being finalised but it promises to be a high quality, diverse and surprising concert – not to be missed.

We look forward to seeing you all there for the Next Generation Concert which begins at 2.30pm at Braemar College on Sunday April 19.
