Jacksons @ Braemar Hosts Red Poppy Dinner

Our restaurant, Jacksons @ Braemar will host The Mount Macedon Anzac Dawn Service Committee’s Red Poppy Dinner on Friday 13 March 2015.

The event commemorates 100 years since the Gallipoli landings, and will raise funds to assist the continuation of the Mount Macedon ANZAC Dawn Service.

CHOPPING POTATOSOur hospitality students will prepare a 3-course Officers’ Mess Dinner commencing with drinks and canapés on the Croquet Lawn.

Music of the era will be provided by Braemar College, and members of our Cadet Unit will also assist on the night by providing a guard of honour, and doing the flag raising.

IMG_1207The Red Poppy Dinner is open to the public, and will feature a presentation by noted author and researcher, Lambis Eglezos AM about the discovery of the Lost Diggers of Fromelles.
