Our annual College picnic will take place this Friday at the Braemar College second campus at 241 Romsey Road, Woodend (sometimes referred to as the Woodend-Wallan Road).

Event officers in orange vests will be located at the entrance of 241 Romsey Road (C324), to assist you in locating the site.Please note that vehicles will be required to exit via Boundary Road.
The theme for the event is “Braemar Big Bash”. Attendance is not compulsory, but strongly encouraged. The picnic will commence at 6:00pm and conclude by 8:30pm.
Classes and buses will operate as normal on Friday 13 February, with lessons finishing at 3:30pm. At approximately 7:45pm, a whole-of-school family community photograph will be taken.
Students will need to wear House T-shirts and we encourage parents and other family members to dress in House colours too.We also suggest you wear a cricket hat of any kind. Runners or comfortable outdoor shoes should be worn as the picnic ground is uneven.
No catering options will be provided at the picnic. Instead, families will be expected to provide their own food, drinks, drinking water, picnic rugs, chairs, etc. Members of the SRC will be seeking gold coin donations for a range of 2015 charitable fundraising initiatives. They will also be selling soft drinks and snack bars.
Please note that if a Total Fire Ban is declared on this date, the picnic will be postponed or cancelled. The College picnic is a non-smoking event.
As this property is currently being grazed by livestock, DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED. There are dams and a creek onsite, so please ensure young children are supervised at all times.
