Recently, the Indonesian students in 7D went international, using Skype to converse with an Indonesian teacher located in Bali.
They played a game, learnt a song and learnt the Indonesian words for parts of the body.
Students also created their own words to the song, and were able to ask Andri, the teacher, questions of their own.
They were very enthusiastic and joined in all the activities, speaking to Andri only in Indonesian, with some translations provided by their teacher, Ms Gregory.
The free Skype lessons are provided courtesy of Education Services Australia who were also present at the lesson to film the class in order to create an instructional video for teachers on how to run/organise a Skype lesson.
