A Message From the Director of Sport

Braemar College offers a wide range of opportunities for students to excel at both individual and team sports.

All students are encouraged to be involved in House competitions, and may then go on to compete at interschool or regional level.

The sports and cultural opportunities we offer include:

The move from Galway to ICCES interschool competition this year has given our students the opportunity to compete in a higher standard of competition, and we have seen some outstanding results.

EXEAT

Term 1 was a busy time for us with House Swimming, ICCES Swimming Carnival, Cobaw Summer Sport Carnival, Bendigo Regional Swimming, and House Athletics.

  • Cobaw Cross Country – 2 May
  • ICCES Athletics – 7 May
  • Sun Country Cup  – 12 May
  • Victorian Schools Orienteering Championships – 16 May
  • Cobaw Soccer – 26 May
  • Cobaw Winter Sport – 10 June (Football, Netball & T-ball)
  • ICCES Winter Tour at Shepparton – 19 and 20 June (Hockey, Basketball, Netball and Soccer)

We are continuing to work with students to achieve involvement and participation in sport, develop competitive teams and explore new opportunities.photo

ELLMATo this end, there are plans to include an ICCES summer tour and football carnival in the sporting calendar in 2015.
